Program Description:


  • Interact with leaders using cutting edge practices in marketing, nance and strategic management
  • Tour the storied venues of Chelsea's Stamford Bridge, Twickenham, Lord's Cricket Ground, The BBC, and The O2
  • Watch England's national football team at a friendly match at Wembley Stadium
  • See a world-class concert at the O2 Arena and a play at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre
  • Explore the cultural history of London



This course is designed to provide high-level access to exciting global organizations in the sports and entertainment industry. rough visiting and talking with the industry elite outside of the U.S., a broader perspective on the industry is gained. Students will read pertinent articles before visits, keep a journal, and write a reflection paper at the end of the experience.

The purpose of this course is to learn more about the global sports and entertainment management industry by experiencing it directly. rough two weeks of visiting organizations and talking with industry experts in London students will be exposed to new ideas and practices in this exciting field.

Tentative site visits include: Chelsea Football Club, All England Lawn Tennis Club/Wimbledon, NFL UK, Twickenham / Rugby Football Union, Lord's Cricket Ground, The O2 Arena, Film & Theatre Production, The BBC, and the UK Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
